Do you remember as a kid, playing with a kaleidoscope? Picking it up and looking at the shattered shards of brightly colored glass amongst the mirrors, revealed a beautiful pattern. Then you would turn it ever so slightly, to reveal an entirely new pattern filled with beauty and wonder. Occasionally, the colors lined up in a very displeasing manner. That is very similar to the way you are and how you move about the world. Sometimes showing up in a beautiful way, and other times, in an ugly way. As you go from role to role, you are revealing a new pattern, a new part of yourself in that moment. Some are familiar and comfortable, some are foreign and uncomfortable yet they all come together to form YOU as a whole being.
In this one day workshop, we will dig into what the colored pieces of you are, how you came to utilize certain parts and explore how your family of origin plays a role. There will be curated experiences with the horses, to allow you to connect in a way that is loving and supported. Horses are natural caretakers and healers. They don’t judge or tell us to be less than or more than we are in the moment. They are a safe space to explore our inner kaleidoscope.
Join the healing herd at Restorative Strides in Coffee Creek, MT with Equine Gestaltist, Alli Caraveo for a day of exploration, discovery and insight.
A simple lunch and refreshments will be provided. Upon registration, please inform us of any allergies or dietary needs.
The weather plays a big role in our time with the horses, so please dress accordingly in layers and we require closed toed shoes for any interactions with the horses. When working with the horses, we will be in an uncovered space. Please bring a hat and sunscreen if you need it.
