Restore Your Soul

at Bonanza Creek Ranch 2026

Breathe in the fresh mountain air of Montana as you dive into who you are at a soul level

For women in all stages of life who are looking to find fun, connection, rest and horse healing in the mountains of Montana

July 5th – 9th, 2026

Martinsdale Montana

The Restore Your Soul retreat at Bonanza Creek Ranch offers an opportunity to reconnect with your soul, revealing and discovering the aspects of yourself that you might have pushed to the side while living and experiencing life. We will explore what it means to be present, and sit with all that encompasses you as well as the deeply experiential and impactful Equine Gestalt Coaching.

Our equine partners will be there as you explore, connect, restore and find inspiration in the beauty around you. You will also find support and connection with our staff and facilitators who are all cowgirls that hold a deep reverence for the land, the beauty of horses and the humans that bless us with each interaction. These women love the healing that happens when cowgirls and horses come together to dig deep, to laugh deep and to find ourselves during this time to unplug from the world and plug into who we are at the soul level.

We will be gathering together, eating incredible food, spending time looking deeply at what makes us unique and individual. You will be able to leave residual hurt behind that you might have picked up along the journey of life and breathe deeper as you partner with a horse to look within.

Whether or not you ride horses, this retreat is for you as there will be plenty of time to rest, explore, and truly let down your pain.

For guests who want to attend without riding, you will be offered a private Equine Gestalt session. This retreat is welcoming to equestrians and those who simply love being around horses.

You’ll leave with a refreshed sense of self and a clearer picture of who you were before the world got in the way.

THE RANCH

Bonanza Creek Country Ranch is part of a family operated cattle ranch in the Castle and Crazy Mountains of Montana.  The Voldseth family, which are the fourth and fifth generations living on this land still own and work the ranch and run 1500 head of cows on 25,000 acres.

For you, that means beautiful views from your cabin, peace and quiet, lots of places to ride with our wranglers, fishing, mountain trails to hike, and places to explore and hunt on the Lewis and Clark National Forest.

Are you looking for great horseback riding AND an opportunity to change and enhance your life? Are you ready to let go of what no longer allows you to be free, to be you, and to discover the strengths within you?

There is no better place than the breathtaking mountains of Montana. You will be pampered with home cooked meals, massages, the fuzzy muzzle of a horse, and that much sought-after peace and quiet.  You will gain strength and courage through the horses, your coaches, and riding in this beautiful, empowering country.  This is an opportunity to learn what in your life no longer serves you and nourish what does.  Grit and grace go hand in hand in transforming your dreams.

Every day is a new adventure on horseback – climb a high ridge, meander through the woods along Bonanza Creek, canter across open country, ride to an old homestead that the modern world hasn’t yet reached.  Soak up all the beauty and tradition of Montana from the best seat in the world.

They have lots of sure footed ranch horses, and will match you to the right horse for your riding ability.  We do ask that you come to ride being an intermediate rider as the country is big and varied. You will need to be comfortable walking, trotting and loping in open country and going up and down steep terrain.

With country as big as this, there is an endless variety of rides they can take guests on.  The rides chosen for each day will vary with the weather, time of year, and preferences and abilities of the guests.

This country has a wide variety of terrain – large pastures, rocky and sage brushed filled hillsides, open country, steep climbs and descents, creek bottoms, hills and mountains – you’ll get to see it all.  The altitude of the rides will vary from 5200 feet to 8300 feet above sea level.

Accommodations

The beautiful cabins at Bonanza Creek Ranch are a testament to the cowboy life that the Voldseth family has built and cultivated on their cattle ranch. Each cabin has a distinct character and charm and is thoughtfully decorated and cozy! Each cabin has a wonderful deck to sit out on and look over the vast landscape as you drink your morning coffee or enjoy the total darkness as you look out at the stars in the evening.

Meet Your Retreat Guide

Alli Caraveo is a graduate of the Touched by a Horse® Equine Gestalt Coaching Certification Program and in her final stages of Gestalt Coaching Method® certification to become a Master Gestaltist

Alli Caraveo

Horses have always been present in Alli’s life, holding space for her as she walked through  life changes, abusive relationships, loss of her father to drugs and eventually suicide, as well as the bumps and bruises that come from living. Horses have never told her to be less than or more than she was in the moment. So when she came across the Touched by a Horse™ program, she knew she had found her calling. Horses had seen into her soul and helped her to look deeper within herself. Alli is honored to partner with rescue horses as they help humans set down their pain to be carried away by the wind on their path to wholeness.

Alli enjoys working with women of all ages that have walked through deep disappointments. When a disappointment has rocked a woman to her core and knocked her off course, it can be hard to find the way back. She could be living in a shell but look like everything is ok. She could be raising kids or going through the motions but has never actually slowed down to ask herself what her favorite color actually is. Perhaps, that dream of landing that job never came to fruition because life got in the way. These disappointments color a woman’s view of herself and her life. As you step into a session with Alli and her horses, you will be able to let down the walls and explore what your soul truly craves.

June Voldseth

June started Bonanza Creek Guest Ranchin 1993. It was a way for her to spend time with two of her passions, horses and people. But life stepped in with much more. Not only has the guest ranch been a fun adventure, but a learning, inspiring, empowering, life changing one.  At the perfect time, along came awareness of the Touched By A Horse life coaching program and the opportunity to truly make Bonanza Creek a place to learn to live your dreams.

June has a love of people, horses, cattle, dogs, and the outdoors, especially the mountains of Montana. She is a working ranch wife, mother of 3, and “nana” to 8 grandkids. She is a graduate of Montana State University and a certified coach with the Touched By A Horse program.

The ranch is western casual every day all day long – blue jeans, warm layers and cowgirl boots are a must. The weather is varied in Montana during the summer so we recommend dressing in layers.
